Which Liposomal Vitamin C is right for me?

With so many Liposomal Vitamin C products on the market today it is hard to know which one is the best one to take for each individual person. We all should know that Vitamin C is vital for our bodies immune system. We don’t make our own Vitamin C and must supplement to obtain it. There are loads of Vitamin C rich foods but the best way to get high doses into our body without gastric upset is to take Liposomal Vitamin C. Here I will list some of the products on the market and what I think their best attributes are.

Best for travel

Nowadays many people go on European breaks for just a few days and tend to take a small case as hand luggage. Whilst this saves time and money it can be hard to get all of your liquids into that plastic bag and keep it under 100ml. This is were Vitamin C sachets come into play, you can bring the exact amount of Vitamin C you need and they don’t take up a lot of Space. I have two favourites in this category. The first is Lipolife Gold Vitamin C Sachets. There is 1000mg Vitamin C per sachet and they use non GMO Sunflower Lecithin instead of soy (great for people who like to avoid soy) At £33.95 for a box of 30 sachets they are well priced on the market and use ‘Quali-C’ which is the worlds first branded Vitamin C and is manufactured in Scotland.

Second in this category is Immune support. Again these sachets contain 1000mg of Vitamin C but they also have added Vitamin B6, Zinc and selenium. This is a great all round supplement for energy, immune function and assisting the central nervous system. What’s really wonderful about this product is that it contains no alcohol and again uses non GMO Sunflower Lecithin instead of Soy. Immune support does not need to be added to water or juice as these handy little sachets can be torn open and taken direct making them even more travel friendly, they have a pleasant sweet lime flavour so no need to rinse away an after taste. At the time of writing a box of 30 sachets are on offer at £30.85 with discount on multiple purchases! Bargain.

Best Science

I’m a massive fan of Quicksilver Scientific products, I’ve been following Dr Chris Shade’s work right from the beginning and the growth, expansion and dedication has been astounding. Quicksilver Delivery Systems® is a signature trademark on all of Dr Shade’s liposomal products, the commitment to rigorous uptake studies to improve on basic liposomal technology is evident in the amount of research they gather. Their liposomes are small enough to pass between cells and enter the blood stream directly, guaranteeing optimal bio-availability. They have more than one Vitamin C based product but I am recommending the straight Liposomal Vitamin C which comes in 120ml bottle. There is 1000 mg Vitamin C per 5ml serving (also the branded Quali-C made in Scotland) and once again there is no soy as they use non GMO Sunflower Lecithin. At £26.97 a bottle this product is also great value for money and if you want to read more about the Science and studies you can visit Quicksilver Scientific’s website

Best Value

Liposomal Vitamin C can be expensive, especially for those who take several doses a day and cost can be a massive decision maker. Of course we don’t want to buy a supplement that is not value for money with many people believing ‘you get what you pay for’. Please be assured as someone who has tried almost every liposomal vitamin C on the UK market and researched their origins I would never peddle a product I don’t believe in or would take myself. For those on a budget I recommend Nutrivitality’s Liposomal Vitamin C. Priced at £23.37 at the time of writing for a 150ml bottle it is one of the best priced Vitamin C’s from a high quality supplement brand. Nutrivitality have used the previously mentioned Quali-C as their chosen Vitamin C for this product, there is no alcohol, it’s non GMO and has a pleasant lime flavouring. There are 30 x 5ml servings in the bottle and each serving is 1000mg Vitamin C so there isn’t less quantity in the bottle than any of the others and why it is therefore my best value Vitamin C.

There are many other Liposomal Vitamin C products on the market but these are my personal recommendations. You can also get Vitamin C blends such as added D3 or Quercetin which you can have a browse through at the following link Liposomal Vitamin C

Whichever one you choose don’t forget all the benefits that you can gain from taking these supplements daily. For me the improvement in my skin is my favourite benefit. Liposomal Vitamin C has helped with my dry and irritable skin to no end and is the one supplement that I couldn’t be without.

I would love to hear if anyone has another Vitamin C that is their favourite, maybe you know of one that I haven’t tried yet! x
